Understanding why children love to spin in circles even though just watching makes us 🥴!

The vestibular sense is responsible to developing better balance, ironically through lots of rotational movement. That’s why most kids crave activities like rolling on the floor, spinning in circles, flipping upside down on monkey bars, and lying over the side of the couch with their heads resting on the floor.

Our post on Instagram  helps explain this even more!

Join in with them and the rotations! This activity will benefit you long term. As we age, we lose this sense of balance and falls become high risk the older we get. So join in the fun! Just start slow! Just like this :point_right:t2: One rotation- close your eyes- and count to 10. When you can recover in 10 seconds- And not fall over then you are ready for 2 rotations!!! And always go in both directions-clockwise and counterclockwise. Have fun!!
