Hi! My youngest baby just turned one last month (3/17) and just started walking about 5 weeks ago (maybe fully independently it has been just less than that)… her legs seem to stay really far apart and I’m worried the wide stance will put strain on her hips. Usually she will walk with her legs shoulder length apart and sometimes will keep her hands out on either side too. She seems to keep her legs wide apart even when she is resting too. Is this something I should be concerned about, and if so are there any exercises I can do to help correct it? Thanks so much for any help!
Hi! This is a very common question as new walkers typically walk and stand with an extra wide base of support. It should narrow over the next 3-6 months
